Discover Meran, an alpine spa town with a mediterranean flair. The beautiful spa town is surrounded by impressive mountains. In Meran's town center, under the medieval arcades, you will find many traditional shops that invite you to shop and linger.


The charming Bozen

South Tyrol's capital Bozen is characterized by its varied cultural program and a variety of shopping opportunities. Here, new things mix in a charming way with the old and in the winding passage of the arcades in Bolzano it is really nice to enjoy a stroll.


Messner Mountain Museum

Reinhold Messner is one of the most famous mountaineers in the world. He created a network of museums located in six extraordinary places in South Tyrol and Belluno. The project dedicates to the mountain and its culture. The Juval Castle near Naturno is in the immediate vicinity.


The Castle Trauttmansdorff

The Castle Trauttmansdorff houses the only tourism museum in South Tyrol, the "Touriseum". Around the castle, the gardens of Castle Trauttmansdorff present themselves as a stage for the flora and offer a fascinating meadow for flower lovers and amateur botanists.


Tirol Castle

The provincial museum for culture and heritage lies within the castle. The museum’s aims are to promote research and representation of Tyrol’s history, to create a permanent collection, to support scientific research into the history of this land as well as to cooperate with institutions of a similar nature.


The wine country South Tyrol

The mild Mediterranean climate creates best conditions for wine growing all around South Tyrol's capital Bolzano, south of it and around the spa town of Merano. The most important red wines are the grapes Vernatsch and Lagrein. Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc are famous white wines.
